The corona virus situation is still ongoing, and although lock down is easing there is still quite a lot of places and businesses that are still closed. Our regular meeting place, Benarty Centre, is one of them. Benarty Community Council ceased holding meetings for health and safety reasons on advice from Fife Council.
At present we are looking at options to hold online meetings in some form. Our next normal meeting would have been Thursday 3 September but there is no sign of the Benarty Centre opening soon, and even when it does reopen we expect there will be measures in place regarding safety and social distancing.
The Community Council looks forward to meeting again, in whatever medium, online or in person, but knows that safety during this pandemic is the first priority. We will update everyone when decisions are made on resumption of meetings. We hope that everyone in the Benarty area stays safe during these times and that slowly things can return to normal.
