Local Government (Scotland) Act 1973 – Proposed Amendments to the Council’s Scheme for the Establishment of Community Councils
In reference to the meeting of Fife Council held on 18 September 2025, where it was agreed to proceed with phase three of the consultation on the revised Scheme for the Establishment of Community Councils in Fife. The process by which the Council will consider whether to make a new scheme, follows Scottish Government guidance, and will be carried out in accordance with the required statutory consultation process.
The third stage of the consultation is now open and the Council invites suggestions and representations from the public on the draft scheme and boundaries.
Any person or organisation wishing to make written suggestions or representations may do so by no later than 5PM on Friday 17 October 2025 by;
