Here are the approved minutes of the meeting from Thursday 12 May 2022

 

Present:  John Purdie, Jack Colquhoun, Brian De Placito, Brian Menzies, Debbie Doyle, Pc Kirk, PC Black, member of the public: Tom Kinnaird

2              Chair Welcome

Chair welcomed all to the meeting.

4              Apologies

Cllrs, Sarah Jane Ratcliffe, Margaret Greer, Anne Hay.

19           Declaration of Interests

No declarations were made.

5              Minutes of the Previous Meetings

The minutes of the previous meeting were read. They were proposed as correct by Jack Colquhoun and Seconded by Brian Menzies.

6              Matters Arising

There were no matters arising.

7              Police Report

The Police submitted their report and answered questions on a couple of local incidents. PCs Kirk and Black informed the Community Council that they would both be moving on from their current positions and noted they were proud to have served in the local community of Benarty.

32           Schools Update

Sarah Jane had noted nothing to report this month

9              Secretary Report

John Purdie noted local planning applications, including the plans submitted for the old community Centre/Primary School at Navitie Park, and that the Community Council was a consultee. A request for a donation to start up the litter collection project from Debbie Doyle was noted and the previously agreed sum of £200 confirmed. It was also noted that there was no progress on the receipt of Ward meeting minutes, but it was mentioned the person at Fife Council may be moving on from their position. It was agreed to chase up un replied questions about the Community Council being a stakeholder at Lochore Meadows, the Bells Project status and the minutes of the Ward meetings.

8              Treasurer Report

The Treasurer submitted a financial report.

10           Councilor Reports

No reports were submitted.

12           Any other Competent Business

No business was raised.

36           Micro Grants

The Community Council agreed to seek permission from the Centre to leave physical copies of the application form at the centre for those who do not have internet access.
