Here are the approved minutes for the Maymeeting of the Community Council
2 Chair Welcome
Chair welcomed all to the meeting.
Present: Jack Colquhoun, John Purdie, Debbie Doyle (Chair), Charlotte Howe, Lisa Reid, Sarah Ratcliffe.

No exceptional items were introduced by the Chair.
5 Minutes of the Previous Meetings
The minutes of the previous meeting were read. They were proposed as correct by Charlotte Howe and seconded by Sarah Ratcliffe.
6 Matters Arising
John Purdie asked a general question in relation to Letters of Support and if the Community Council would like a template for a letter of support drawn up. The Community Council agreed to the creation of a more detailed outline for Letters of Support.
7 Police Report
The police sent their apologies but the Chair relayed a message from PC Smith: I would like to thank the local residents of Clune Terrace, Glencraig for their support and co-operation throughout the events of Sunday evening. This incident has affected the whole community and has caused substantial fear and alarm to local residents, we aim to address these issues with the support of our partner agencies. It’s important local residents, and visitors to the area feel secure and reassured that they can go about their day-to-day lives free from the fear of violence and anti-social behaviour and those responsible for this behaviour will he held accountable for their actions.
The Community Council agreed to invite Safer Communities to the next meeting to discuss their role, procedures and general advice.
40 Reports
Jack Colquhoun updated on cheque amendments and a letter from the Bank of Scotland and that change of signatories are still ongoing. Sarah Ratcliffe noted that units were put into St Kenneth’s and that underground pipes that were closer to the surface than thought were delaying matters. It was noted the school was offering every pupil a pair of shoes and had started a fair share project. Lisa Reid noted Benarty Primary also had a fair share project and that a grant had been approved for the playground, playground markings to be done during the holidays. There was also mini medics training. John Purdie noted the change in planning notification proposed by Fife Planning and the Community Council agreed to question this. Charlotte Howe noted that the newsletter is going from strength to strength but they are still looking for articles and other content. Funding has been applied from and secured.
12 Open Forum, Any other Competent Business

36 Micro Grants
The Community Council agreed the award to Lochgelly High from the previous meeting.
