Chair Welcome
Chair welcomed all to the meeting.

Charlotte Howe declared an interest in a micro grant application
Minutes of the Previous Meeting
The minutes of the meeting read, and were proposed by Charlotte Howe and seconded by David Hynd.
Matters Arising
It was reported the Stephen Nardone had informed that £1,000 had been raised and handed to Poppy Scotland. It was clarified that the previously withdrawn Micro Grants were to be paid from the Micro grants after consultation with Foundation Scotland.
Reports
Updates were given about the Treasurer report, no changes, one cheque still to be cashed, and updates from the Secretary with decisions taken on emails and the application for flooding defence grant.
Procedural Items
The procedural items were agreed: no timings were needed, the meeting dates to stand, documents by email, numbering removed, a WhatsApp group to be created for communication. Secretary and Treasurer were encouraged to submit receipts for expenses incurred.
Logo
A logo was discussed, the members of the public suggested they knew someone who could design one and they would attend the next meeting.
Open Forum, Any other Competent Business
Members of the public told the Community Council about the flooding issues t their property and how the issues affecting the Benarty area, Kirktoun Park, Navitie Park, could be resolved by work being done at the top end of Benarty. Fife Council Officers will be invited to the next meeting and the members of the public would return for the presentation
Citizen of the Year
Citizen of the Year was discussed and it was agreed to contact a speaker for presenting the award . It was also agreed to take nominations and agreements for citizen of the year on Facebook posts and to make the completing of forms as simple as possible to help bring in more nominations.
Micro Grants
Micro Grant of £250 was awarded to Fairy Wood, Micro grant to £250, with £50 coming from Community Council funds awarded to Benarty arts Club. Further information was to be requested of Romi Clarke Dance school.
Agreement: send Fife Council an email with the advert stating Kirkland Farm was Fife Council property: complete the Resilience fund application and look into what can be bought: set up a WhatsApp group for out of meeting communication: confirm wording about member nonattendance: invite Fife Council to the January meeting for a presentation on flooding. Contact for presenting Citizen of the Year award; take nominations online, help people with the forms; contact British Gas and Shell re the land at previous Kirkland Farm: renew micro grants.
