2 Chair Welcome
Chair welcomed all to the meeting
4 Apologies
19 Declaration of Interests
No Declarations of interest were made
39 Exceptional Items
Chair introduced Michael Payne from Benarty Forum. Michael Payne spoke about the Local place Plan, and Climate Action Towns, how the Benarty Community Forum had also had guests at their meeting and there was enthusiasm to take the matter forward and have both groups work on it. It was agreed that John Purdie attend the next Forum meeting to continue the process.
5 Minutes of the Previous Meetings
The minutes of the previous meeting were read. They were proposed as correct by Charlotte Howe and seconded by Jack Colquhoun
6 Matters Arising
John Purdie brought up the fact that there had been no response from Scottish Water and it was agreed to continue contacting them.
7 Police Report
The police were not in attendance
40 Reports
Jack gave an update to the accounts, all microgrants have been paid. Things still ongoing for the signatory change, Charlotte Howe had agreed to be a new signatory.
Charlotte Howe gave an update for the newsletter group. Hard copies were circulated around Benarty, thanks to Ron Mackie and Unison there was the first paid advert, there were ongoing competitions for the name of the newsletter and a logo.
Cllr McLelland entered. Cllr McLelland gave an update on the situation regarding anti-social behaviour at and around Ore Park in Glencraig. Safer Communities and the Police and Fire Services were involved and hot spots were being checked. It was asked what the Community Council could do to assist the situation.
12 Open Forum, Any other Competent Business
Jack Colquhoun asked if there were litter collections by Fife Council at weekends as the Crosshill area did not seem to be cleaned. It was agreed to contact the department within Fife Council to get information.
The public part of the meeting was closed
17 Citizen of the Year
There were agreed changes and amendments to the Citizen of the Year procedures.
36 Micro Grants
A microgrant for Benarty Primary Curling was agreed
